Will you still have to pay child support with joint custody?

Joint custody has many advantages for children and is often in their best interest. They get quality time with both of their parents and grow up with secure and loving attachments. However, joint custody can be tougher on the parents. They might be away from their children half of the time, and while it gives the parents more opportunities to pursue career development and personal interests, it may make for lonely times once in a while.
